Occupational therapy is uniquely poised as a profession to provide ecologically valid (real-life based) assessment tools.
If you are interested in pursuing research in the realm of adult (older adult) assessment, please contact me. Currently I am working on home safety, quality of life, quality of death, visual perception, and functional cognition.
